About the Playwright |
Stephanie House is still very much that kid that checked out the 7-pound world mythology book from her middle school library and carried it around everywhere like it was her child. She graduated with a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Georgia College and State University. Her senior thesis play, INTERSEXION, received a fully staged production with the Georgia College Theatre Department and her one-act comedy, MINUTE LASS, is going to receive a table read from The Washington Improv Theater. She lives in Dupont Circle with her husband Connor. By day she’s a mild-mannered research assistant with an executive search firm, but by night she writes reviews for the Maryland Theatre Guide and the occasional post on her blog: The Literary Nerd.
