FRANKENSTEIN: DAWN OF A MONSTER - 15TH ANNUAL PAGE TO STAGE FESTIVAL

  • The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts 2700 F Street Northwest - Terrace Lounge Washington, DC, 20566 United States (map)

FRANKENSTEIN: DAWN OF A MONSTER by David Emerson Toney at The Kennedy Center's Annual Page-to-Stage Festival on Saturday, Sept. 3rd at noon in the Terrace Lounge.

"I will have love."  This new dramatic interpretation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" fuses events from Shelley's life with scenes inspired by her novel. Betrayal and anger set Shelley and The Monster on a violent path through 19th century London as their worlds collide and shatter into violence. Humorous and tragic, David Emerson Toney's FRANKENSTEIN: DAWN OF A MONSTER chronicles Mary Shelley's triumph over self-destruction.
